VISITING THE CEMETERY

We are open during daylight hours and the cemetery is open year round providing that the roads are accessible and free from mud and snow.

RULES OF THE JACKSONVILLE RURAL CEMETERY ASSOCIATION
  • All plantings, pots and decorations shall be placed and kept trimmed to within 1 foot around the monument to allow for maintenance

  • Glass containers are prohibited

  • The Cemetery Association reserves the right to remove flowers, wreaths or other decorations from lots when they are damaged or unsightly

  • Planting of trees is not allowed

  • All shrubs must be approved by the Cemetery Association prior to planting

  • No public parking, ATV’s, dirt bikes or snowmobiles are allowed

  • Cemetery is open during daylight hours. Snow and mud conditions are the exception and may require roads to be blocked to motorized traffic

  • One above ground headstone allowed per grave. Additional monuments must be placed flat in the ground to allow for mowing

  • Please take trash home with you. Trash containers are provided for non-biodegradable items if needed.
